Dr Jean-Frédéric Mall
Dr Jean-Frédéric Mall is an accredited and former senior physician in the Division of Old Age Psychiatry at the University Hospital of Lausanne, Switzerland.
Having specialised in psychiatry and psychotherapy for adults and elderly, he is also in charge of the electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) unit of the department of psychiatry at the Lausanne University Hospital.
Dr Mall was trained in Lausanne and Paris. He follows an evidence-based medical approach, focused on optimised and personalised prescription for biological treatments, pharmacological or non-pharmacological, in particular neurostimulation and neuromodulation.
He has followed intensive training in electroconvulsive therapy at the Division of Brain Stimulation & Therapeutic Modulation of Columbia University, New York, and training on transcranial magnetic stimulation at the Berenson-Allen Center for Noninvasive Brain Stimulation, Harvard Medical School.

Dr Xavier De Moor
Dr Xavier De Moor is chief resident in the Division of Old Age Psychiatry at the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV), Switzerland.
Specialist in adult psychiatry and psychotherapy, trained in Strasbourg and Lausanne, he has a strong focus on biological and interventional treatments at the CHUV.
He offers psychiatric assessments for adults and elderly, targeted interventions, pharmacological adjustments, short or longer-term follow-up and is involved in interventional treatments in collaboration with other specialists at the LCIP.
Looking to offer effective and rapid care, his pragmatic approach is mostly inspired by the behavioural and cognitive model.
Anesthesia
For ketamine infusions and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), the Centre for Interventional Psychiatry works with Mobile Anesthesia Care, a facility led by Dr Giovanni Gaggero and Dr Nicolas Vasey. It includes a team of FMH (Swiss Medical Association) doctors specialised in anaesthesiology and as well as nurse anesthetists who are highly experienced, including in working with patients suffering from psychiatric and neurological disorders.
